Monthly budget template (Excel)
Three tabs: Setup for categories and limits, Log for purchases and Dashboard for totals. Type the month in one cell and every total follows. Overspent categories turn red. It uses plain ranges, so it also opens in Google Sheets. Read the build guides for Excel and Google Sheets.
Debt snowball spreadsheet (Excel)
Enter up to three debts, your total monthly payment and your first payment date. The sheet pays minimums, rolls freed-up money onto the next debt and shows your debt-free date and total interest. Sort the debts by APR to see the avalanche instead. The guide explains every formula.
Using a file in Google Sheets: upload the .xlsx to Google Drive, open it with Google Sheets and check that the drop-down lists and conditional formatting came across.

Do I need to give my email to download?
No. The spreadsheets and calculators are free with no sign-up. The Starter Kit and Budget Kit pages offer an optional newsletter, but you can skip it.
Are the examples real numbers?
The sample rows are made-up examples so you can see how the sheets work. Replace them with your own. The worked results in our guides come from step-by-step calculations, and the snowball sheet reproduces them exactly.
Can I edit and share them?
Yes. Edit them for your own use and share them with a partner or family. Please do not resell them.
