An older woman stopped me once — she had to be in her 80s — and raised two fingers to get my attention. I went over and asked how I could help her.

She said: “I’ve been coming here for 20 years. And every time I do, I hear the tenderness in your voice. I just wanted you to know that.”

I didn’t know what to say. I just thanked her and held it together as long as I could.

That’s who I try to be. Someone who makes people feel seen. I love making people smile, I’ll spend 20 minutes getting a bow perfect on a gift, and I genuinely care about the people around me.

That same energy is why I built Debt Free Empire. I was stressed about money for a long time, and I know how heavy that feels. I’m on a real path to being debt free now — and I want to help others get there too.

Real tools, real talk, no judgment. Just people trying to get somewhere better.
