Free printable cash envelope tracker
One sheet per envelope. Use it with physical cash or with debit-card envelopes: write the starting balance at the top, log every purchase the day you make it, and subtract it from the balance left. The sheets below print one per page, so print as many as you have envelopes.
- Write the envelope's category and starting balance at the top (the amount you funded on payday).
- After each purchase, write the date, what it was for and the amount, then update the balance left.
- Once a week, compare each sheet with your bank balance. If they drift apart, a purchase went unrecorded.
- At the end of the pay period, move any leftover balance to your debt payoff.
